Speak Life

How often do we speak kind words into the lives around us? People can be really affected by the way we speak to them and the words that we say. This song by TobyMac has really challenged me recently. Here’s the words of the chorus: “…Speak life, speak life To the deadest darkest night Speak life, speak life When the sun won’t shine and you don’t know why Look into the eyes of the broken-hearted Watch them come alive as soon as you speak hope You speak love, you speak…life” This week, try to speak words that build up, not tear down. Tell someone they’re doing a good job today. You might just get a smile from them. :)
